Crete Island Restaurant is a family-run Greek restaurant inspired by the traditions of Crete and the recipes we grew up with. After running a restaurant in Greece, our family moved to the area and transformed an empty site in Wallisdown into a welcoming space, carrying out the work ourselves.
In the kitchen, Eleni and Pandi bring more than 25 years of experience, preparing traditional Greek dishes with care. We use extra virgin olive oil from small farms in Crete, fresh ingredients and simple methods that let the flavours speak for themselves. From handmade mezze such as saganaki and kolokithokeftedes to desserts prepared by our family, everything is made with attention and pride.
