Wherever you are in the world, we’ll bring our training from onboard our yacht ‘Mipha’ to you via your computer, tablet or smart phone. All of our courses are presented online in video or text and pictures so that you may choose the learning style that suits you best. Physical charts, navigation tools and learning materials are sent in the post so that you can learn to navigate step-by-step with us. Knowledge quizzes are provided along the way so that you can monitor your progress, and with expert instructors on hand 7 days a week you can get in touch quickly and easily whenever you have a question. Ardent Training was founded by a team of extremely experienced, professional sailors. Having earned their stripes in the roughest seas and most treacherous coastlines this world has to offer they returned home with an eye to settling down and teaching what they had learned.
Working in extreme places shapes a person's perspective and eradicates bad habits. Phrases like ‘it will probably last’ are forgotten and instead you learn to strive for perfection. That is the attitude we are bringing to this industry, we are taking the current ‘that will do’ experience and working hard to provide something which is better. We are always looking at how we can improve the learning experience for our students.
