The Damp Register is a free UK directory of damp proofing specialists, built on the Property Care Association member register.
Anyone can call themselves a damp expert; PCA members are vetted on entry, audited, insured and able to offer insurance-backed guarantees on their work.
We list only current PCA members, show the membership number on every profile so it can be checked against the register, and re-check the register regularly.
Homeowners, landlords and buyers can browse by region, county or city, or search by company name.
Each profile shows the specialist’s services (damp control, timber preservation, basement waterproofing, structural repair, condensation and ventilation, flood recovery), address, phone and website, plus other PCA members nearby. County pages explain the local housing stock and the damp problems typical of the area, with a cost guide, a plain-English explanation of rising, penetrating and condensation damp, and advice on what a proper damp survey should include.
A free quote form on every page passes the enquiry to one PCA-registered local specialist. There is no charge to homeowners and no charge to listed specialists.
The Damp Register covers 48 counties across England, Scotland and Wales and is free for homeowners and specialists alike.
