Unity Health & Performance provides a holistic approach to injury rehabilitation, chronic pain treatment and mobility issues using the Unity Rehab Care Pathway. Utilising physiotherapy, osteopathy, and sports therapy, the Rehab Care Pathway looks to treat individuals from acute injury, chronic pain or post-operative, to returning back to their passion.
Patients will start by undergoing a physiotherapy consultation, to identify their specific needs for treatment, before starting their rehab journey. This helps identify the route cause of the pain patients are in, helping us to break that cycle of feeling better after a treatment before returning right back to pain a few weeks later. Once clinical appropriate, patients progress from physiotherapy, to working with our osteopath who takes a holistic approach to injury rehabilitation, to treat poor compensatory methods the body has developed to help us ‘get by’. Then, when ready, patients progress to working with our sports therapist to return them to whatever their passion is. All of this is included in a single monthly price, so patients know what they are paying, regardless of who is treating them.
Unity also offers sports massage therapy and acupuncture, to compliment patients treatment as and when it is clinically appropriate.
