LED neon is: Made with PVC & acrylic; Powered by LED lights; Cased in flex rubber tubing or acrylic. LED neon products are more cost-effective, durable, energy efficient, and safer than glass neon products, while providing an incredible visual impact that is on par with, or even greater than, what you get with a traditional glass neon sign. Our LED neon signs, lights, wall art and lamps are: Available in a wide range of colours and styles. Available in a variety of on-trend quotes and aesthetic designs in our Store. Available as a personalised neon sign. Available in your own design using our Custom Neon® sign maker. Available with clear, coloured, mirrored, metalic or UV printed backgrounds. Mounted on your choice of: an acrylic backboard; an acrylic stand; or encased in clear acrylic boxes. We can also offer custom shapes, matt and wooden backboards for certain types of signs.
Are Custom Neon® signs safe?
Custom Neon signs are made with LED neon, sometimes referred to as faux neon. There is no glass in our light signs. The LED lighting will not overheat and makes the signs much more energy efficient than traditional glass neon signs. This is great for the budget and even greater for the planet. Custom Neon signs made from LED neon are more durable, easier to transport, and surprisingly lightweight.
How do I hang or wall mount my Custom Neon® sign?
How do I hang / wall mount my neon light? Hanging your new neon light sign is surprisingly easy. Custom Neon signs weigh 3-6kg (6-11lb) on average and include pre-drilled holes on the acrylic backboard. Custom Neon signs are safe to transport and easy to install. For wall mounting your new neon light you’ll need one of our Wall Mounting kits which must be purchased at the time of ordering your sign as they require a specific hole size.
