Aloura Apparel is a female-founded, independent activewear brand created to empower women with style, performance and confidence. Proudly designed in Scotland and launched in 2025 by founder Sophie Mitchell, Aloura is redefining women’s gymwear with pieces that flatter, support and move seamlessly from studio to street.
For Sophie, movement has always been more than just exercise. From childhood dance classes to strength training in adulthood, it was a source of freedom, self-belief and joy. But finding activewear that matched that energy wasn’t easy. Too often, the options were poor quality, see-through, or uncomfortable — made for fast fashion rather than real women. Sophie saw a gap for something different: premium activewear that was thoughtfully designed, built to last, and created to make women feel truly unstoppable.
That spark became Aloura Apparel.
