Harwood driving school provides high standard Grade A 50/51 Instruction throughout your driving lessons in Bolton, Bury and Radcliffe. Becoming a driver changes a person’s life in a meaningful way. This is why my driver training is structured to suit your individual needs – whether it be learner driving lessons, advanced driving lessons, ADI parts 1, 2, 3 or Standards Check Test preparation. All your professional driver training is carried out by myself Dan Ison. I am an Advanced Driver with many years driving experience, along with being one of the highest Standards check graded DVSA Approved driving instructors in the North West, (Grade A 50/51) I have completed advanced driving tests to the highest levels, including the Diamond Advanced, Diamond Special, and DVSA Cardington Special Test at driving standard Grade A.

All the training I provide is based around a culture of client centred learning, utilising the latest interactive techniques. I focus on developing candidates to gain in depth knowledge of driving skills and perception tools. Coaching candidates to become thinking drivers who anticipate and plan, rather than react to situations when they occur. Gaining an in depth understanding of the way to drive safely for life. Organisationally, I am a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists by exemption. Also of the Driving Instructors Association, carrying £25 million of professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I use in car technology, (dual cameras) for an audio and visual record of each training session and for the monitoring of road and traffic conditions.
